Large Pots
Nothing is more stressful than cooking for a crowded room
full of people. When the holidays come around it seems like everyone
could use some nice, large pots. Some items like lobster or potatoes
just plain demand large vessels.
Cooking in bulk is a good way to save money. Cooking large amounts and
freezing in smaller portions is a great substitute for the less healthy,
sodium laden frozen meals in the supermarket. Use a large pot to make
a big batch of stew to give as gifts to family or friends.
When the house is full of people it is a lot easier to use one or two
large pots as opposed to several small ones. Most people don’t
have more than four burners; one large pot can make enough of a dish
for a whole crew. Large items need large containers.
